Common Questions

You may cancel without penalty any time after accepting a minimum of four wine club shipments.  Please note that the first allocation taken at sign up is included in the 4 minimum shipments.  Here are the basic terms and conditions of our wine club.

You understand that you may cancel your membership after receipt of four (4) wine club shipments provided written notice is received within 15 days prior to the next shipment. If you collected a shipment in the lounge when you signed up, that will count as your first allocation. If you want to cancel before taking all 4 shipments, you may cancel by paying back the discounts you have received as a member and giving at least 15 days ‘ notice. No cancellations are permitted once the allocation period has opened as it is within the 15 day period of an allocation. You understand that you can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time. Wine Club allocations are March, June, September, and December of each year. You have 14 days from the opening of a wine club allocation to pick different wines for a particular allocation period. After the 14 days, if you have not made a selection on the mobile app or the website, you agree to accept the winemaker’s selections. Should you choose to pick up your wine at one of our locations, you agree to collect the bottles within 30 days of an allocation date from the tasting lounge. If the wine is not picked up within 30 days, you agree that we will hold a credit to allow you to pick new wines based on what is available at the time you actually come to collect the wine at equal or greater value to the bottles you purchased. A business address is preferred, as there is always an adult to sign for the wine.  Direct shipping laws are changing quickly and we make every attempt to ship to as many states as legally possible.

We will gladly replace any bottle of wine purchased from La Fata Cellars that is damaged, flawed, or otherwise deemed to be unsatisfactory. We ask that the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle. To return an item, please contact us within 30 days of purchase.

Please note that once a bottle leaves our facility there are no refunds under any circumstances.  We can only replace a bottle with the same bottle if there is a defect.

Please send an email us to arrange for the return of a corked or otherwise flawed product.

Due to current state regulations, we regretfully cannot ship wine to the following states:

  • North Dakota
  • Utah

Please note: We can ship non-wine merchandise to these states.

We can change the delivery address as long as your order has not been processed. You can do this from the Wineclub section of our website.

Because of our sensitivity to the temperature variances that can occur during the summer and winter months, we generally ship Monday through Wednesday during periods of high heat (above 85°F) or extreme lows to ensure same week delivery.

We also have the ability to include gel packs to protect packages from heat spikes. We may, at times, contact customers to consult on overnight shipping or holding the shipment back to ensure the integrity of their wines. You will receive an email confirmation and tracking number when your order has shipped.
